For any of your more “organic” focused affiliates you may find the following news extremely interesting. This could be a huge ranking loophole for a short time when it launches, so get ready.
Facebook is looking to turn their “notes” feature into a full blown Tumblr competitor.
How good does that sound?
Imagine combining the ranking power of Facebook with keyword rich blog posts. It’s a wet dream for any organic affiliate with any experience (in fact some may actually be drooling).
Techcrunch noted that:
Back in March, Facebook acqui-hired the team from Storylane, a sort of blogging platform its founders described as the “the home for personal thoughts and stories that go deeper than a quick Facebook or Twitter update.” It illustrated the rift between Facebook and Tumblr. Twitter is defined by its simplicity, so we’ll leave it out of this discussion.

It’s a fair bet that Facebook wouldn’t acquire blogging specialists without the intention of them creating a blogging platform. Notes has a long way to go to become a “blogging platform” but it can certainly be done.
We’ll have to wait and see for now. In the meantime start thinking about how you want to jump on this opportunity while it lasts.
So if we start writing some articles in there now, when this new platform rolls out, you think they will automatically be converted? This sounds like it could prove very useful.
