How many of us are guilty of trying to create a webpage to promote a product but get stuck somewhere along the way with the technology? Maybe an image doesn’t show up here or a box overlaps over there. It happens to a lot of people. The problem is that affiliates will often try to create web pages without fully understanding HTML and CSS.
So what’s an aspiring affiliate to do?
https://www.easel.io/ hopes to be the answer to that question. They’re a new in-browser web design tool. With Easel you can mock up, share with collaborators, and implement designs ideas without knowing the code behind it. It’s one of the most deep web design tools I’ve come across.
Here is a quote from their site:
The current web design process is broken. People use image editing tools for creation, share screenshots over email, and spend more time than necessary manually translating the design into a working product. We believe the future of application design is in the browser with tools that understand the medium and the process.
That’s music to my ears.
With Easel you can:
- Import from the web – If you already have a site you can copy any existing element and paste into Easel for rapid prototyping
- Create clickable prototypes – have one document link to another for easy to view page flow. All without entering a single line of code.
- Export to HTML/CSS – when you’ve nailed down your design export it to HTML and upload it to your server.
This tool is going to be a “God-Send” for code challenged affiliates and business owners everywhere. The best part is you can use Easel for free. It may not have some of the advanced features of the paid version but most won’t use them anyway.
iPyxel.com created an awesome Easel tutorial video. Take a look at what you can do with the tool below. It’s super powerful. You should be able to see the benefits immediately if you’ve ever played with HTML or CSS in the past.
Brilliant tool, best creator I have seen. Knocks all the others out of the water! I want it please? Can it also create 3/4 mini sites?
