Have you been told you need to be extraordinary to succeed? Have you been beaten into believing that you have to be the smartest, the fastest, the most visionary, the most innovative to make it in life?
How does that feel?
If you’re like most (normal) people – that probably pisses you off a bit. In fact it’s a bit of a defeat before you begin. Let’s face it not everyone is brilliant, or beautiful, or revolutionary. While we’re being honest with ourselves it’s pretty safe to say that most of us are just… normal.
You know what?
That’s a good thing. It’s a good thing because no matter what your economic situation, no matter what your education, you’re capable. Being normal means being a healthy capable individual. It has nothing to do with whether or not you wear glasses, you’re skinny, or you’re fat.
If you’re of normal health, you’re capable of getting things done.
If you’re of normal intelligence, you’re smart enough to learn
So many people focus on what they lack they never move forward. When you remember what you ARE capable of the road ahead becomes clear.
If you lack knowledge – Learn
If you lack money – Earn (anyway you can legally)
If you lack anything – Embrace your “normalness” and know that you’re capable.
Gratitude for what you’ve got can take you further than dwelling on what you’re not.
